Operation disrupted on partial sections of JR Kagoshima Line, Kyūdai Line and Hisatsu Line (updated on July 20, 2020)

JR Kyushu is disrupting operations of the following sections due to the effects of the heavy rain disaster in July, 2020.

  • JR Kagoshima Line (鹿児島本線) between Nagasu Station (長洲, Kumamoto) and Ueki Station (植木, Kumamoto)
    It is undecided when the train operation is resumed.
  • JR Kagoshima Line between Kumanojō Station (隈之城, Kagoshima) and Kagoshima-chūō Station (鹿児島中央, Kagoshima)
    It is undecided when the train operation is resumed.
    *The train operation was resumed between Sendai Station (川内, Kagoshima) and Kumanojō Station.
  • JR Kyūdai Line (久大本線) between Hita Station (日田, Ōita) and Mukainoharu Station (向之原, Ōita)
    It is undecided when the train operation is resumed.
    The substitute bus transportation is available between Yufuin Station (由布院, Oita) and Mukainoharu Station.
  • JR Hisatsu Line (肥薩線) between Yatsushiro Station (八代, Kumamoto) and Yoshimatsu Station (吉松, Kagoshima)
    It is undecided when the train operation is resumed.
