The service was resumed on March 14, 2020, between Fudai Station (Iwate) and Kuji Station (Iwate) on the Sanriku Railway Rias Line, which had been cut off due to Typhoon 19 in 2019.
In addition, the service of the remaining unconnected section, between Kamaishi Station (Iwate) and Rikuchū-yamada Station (Iwate) will resume on March 20, 2020.
